Dance Dance

What was suppose to be a first floor guest bedroom turned into our play room. Sits right in the front of the house with big windows, which the blinds are always open. We spend 75 percent of our day in the play room goofing around, watching Dora, making a mess, having a snack, but most importantly DANCING! I will turn on Pandora and we sing, march and act out all the songs. The neighbors have to love watching us acting like fools!

One of my favorite songs since I was little was "You are my sunshine". It's a song that was sung to me, I sang it to my 10 yr old BFF when I put her to sleep, and I sing in to Little Girl when I would rock her. It is a song that I would pick her up, dance her around the room and sing. It is our song. When she hears certain songs, she knows how we dance to them. Just a few days ago while I was getting her snack ready she comes into the kitchen and says to be "Tata, come." I followed her to the play room to hear our song playing. When I realized what she wanted I asked if she wanted to dance. "Yep" she responded.

                       MELT.MY.HEART.

Obviously it brought a tear to my eye simply because when she gets married, if I'm around for that, it will be a song we dance to simply so I can embarrass her.

WHAT THE HECK!?!

I have some really sad news to share.... so please sit down. Take a deep breath.

The end of my 20's are rapidly coming to an end. Sad, I know. Looking back each year has been amazing. I learned a little more, matured (a teeny tiny) more, and experienced a little more. I have followed my dream of becoming a nanny, taken amazing trips with my friends, moved out and back home, lived out of state, kept the same friends, had plenty of laughs, late nights and hangovers. I was never tied down and always had to opportunity to do whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted.

Out of all my ages,  22 was a grand old time, 25 was fun too. But 29? I HATE YOU!!!! Why you might ask? 29 has given me more white hairs than any other age. Early fall I found my 2nd WHITE hair (the first one was during nanny school). I called my mom to cry. She was pretty unsympathetic. after a moment of silence she said "Well Tara, you are almost 30. Your Grandma was completely white by 40."  It took everything in me not to hang up.  And what I love the most is that my family just laughs, yes maybe I am a little dramatic about it, but its my friends that care and try to be understanding.
#4 Pulled to its death 2/7/14

I guess what gets me the most is they aren't even curly. I mean come on hair! I take such care and pride in my curls. Becoming white, ok fine I will deal.  But not keeping up with the rest of the curls?? Nope, You are getting pulled out!! Little things like this make me wish I was a guy so I could just shave my head.
#1 I hate you

White Stuff?

And so it begins... another Ohio winter. Who would have thought this year would be worse than the last.  Here are a couple pictures of the Little Girl and I during the very first snow. November I think. She loved it! We made a few snow balls to throw which she found to be hilarious.

Amazing how something so cute and small, like her, can melt your heart.

Helloooooo 20 14

MY OH MY! what a crazy fall/winter it has been!!!

Itty E is approaching 2 and becoming a true toddler. She talks up a storm, which I absolutely love! I have great conversations with her mostly about Dora, Teddy, purple kaka, and Denny the landscaper. She knows her colors, shapes and learning numbers, ABC's and singing any song at the top of her lungs. I can't believe she will be 2 in just a few more weeks, honestly where has the time gone?

Getting ready for baby's arrival
We had a new addition join our family December 1st. A precious baby BOY, WB3. He was born for a full head of dark hair and a dark completion. Complete opposite of his big sister. He eats, sleeps and poops. He and I have truly bonded over the last two months and he knows I am a sucker when it comes to holding him. Hold a sleeping baby for 90 minutes and not do any other work? SURE! Your parents will understand!   My little buddy has put his parents at easy with just how well he has taken to me. I mean, it really has no choice. Itty E hasn't been phased by her baby brother all too much. She cried because he cried the first time we changed his diaper. She isn't afraid to tell you to put him down when she wants her full attention.
